Being Artistic on a Beautiful Tuesday Morning

My job...my profession...is as an artist, so when I'm working I'm being "artistic." I wonder if a surgeon, when she is working is being "doctory," or when an accountant is working he is being "number crunchery?" Silly. I agree. "Strength And Beauty" is the first place winning image in a recent contest at Fine Art America titled "The Beauty of Geraniums." Lots of boxes yet to unpack. There is an art to moving...to packing and then unpacking boxes. My husband and I have been spending the past days in relocating from one community to another. I no longer live in California's Bay Area...we moved north; am still in my avocado-eating, too many celebrities, ocean-mountains-desert and lots of agriculture California, but out of the terrible traffic gridlock of the Bay Area. Oh Where Oh Where Has This Blogger Been?

I sure appreciate modern technology! I'm posting this little update via my iPhone. My husband and I are going through a relocation and instead of being busy at my art work table, I've been up to my ears in boxes, boxes and more boxes! First it was to fill them, now it's to empty them. Where to put all the do-dads?
